About the Photographer

I am an Austin, Texas based photographer specializing in newborn, baby, child, and pregnancy portraits.

After receiving my first SLR camera as an adolescent, I developed an instant love for the art of photography. I later completed coursework in both color and black and white photography in college. After graduating with my masters degree in public affairs, I continued with my favorite hobby and spent many hours in my home darkroom.

The birth of my daughter reinvigorated my passion for capturing unique images that document our present. I created Luz del Alma Photography out of that passion five years ago, and truly enjoy working with and photographing my clients.
